A recent study that was paid for by an e-cigarette retailer has been analysed by scientists working for Tobaccoharmreduction.org concluded that the product can help smokers replace their tobacco cigarettes with an e-cigarette successfully and limit their intake of harmful tobacco smoke.
The study conducted by the retailer is likely to have been filled with fans of the product, but this shows that those who are committed to using a replacement product such as the e-cigarette can successfully give up smoking tobacco cigarettes. There is a vast difference among this product and other nicotine replacement systems in the minds of consumers. The e-cigarette tackles the psychological aspect of smoking in a way that nicotine replacement products of the past cannot.
The taste of the product was pleasing to consumers and many were able to replace their cigarette consumption with the electronic device.
The studies that have been conducted on the e-cigarette have been very promising for smoking cessation advocates. It significantly reduces cravings for nicotine and helps smokers improve their health. Many of the respondents in these studies have reported an improvement in smoker?s cough, ability to breathe and exercise without becoming winded. This improvement in health further encourages smokers to continue on their smoking cessation program.
More research is needed to determine if the results are consistent over the long term. There have not been any studies to show the effects of the product over the long term. This long term research is needed to determine if smokers are able to quit for a longer period of time. Anti smoking advocates in the US are paying close attention to these studies to further the use of these products. Currently, there is a controversy over the use of electronic cigarettes in public locations in the US. Unlike the unrestricted use that the e-cigarette has enjoyed in other countr...
